Some words about us

Michael and Marcus Taylor bring a total of over 65 years of construction experience to the business. English Heritage Homes of Texas was formed in 1995 to carry out residential remodels and new construction, and allowed father and son the opportunity to work together passing on to a fourth generation the experiences of construction, while also having a policy of quality and integrity that has allowed the business to grow on referrals from both architects and previous clients and during that time emphasis is put on forward planning and high levels of supervision on a day to day basis, with supervisory staff reporting directly to the owners.

Since inception in the region of 150 projects have been completed ranging from high rise apartments, new construction up to 20,000 sq. ft. to remodels and additions to existing homes. Luxury Edition Homes, Build-to-suit and Green Built homes are our specialty. We have been honored to work in some of the finest areas of Dallas, Texas such as Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Lakewood, Forrest Hills, Oak Cliff and Frisco.

Communtication is key

For our clients we believe that familiarity with the projects eliminates many of the challenges faced in remodeling and construction. While retaining a thorough paper trail, detailed contracts, change orders, invoicing and statements our communication with the clients is vital in keeping them up to date with their individual projects. We prefer to meet with them on a regular basis during their project.

The company's subcontractors have been carefully chosen to carry out work to the highest standards demanded by the Owners and indeed several now work exclusively for English Heritage Homes of Texas Inc.

During these times of economic uncertainty English Heritage Homes of Texas Inc maintains a steady work schedule and plans to continue building for many more years to come.

Michael Taylor

Michael Taylor originally spent 30 years working in London, England, constructing family homes, apartments, factories and offices. Recently he has begun a project in Saltillo, Texas. And in May 2011 was recognized with an award from Modern Steel Construction of his work on a private chapel in east Texas.

Marcus Taylor

Marcus Taylor has spent a great deal of time during the last three years working on projects in the Park Cities, Lakewood and Forest Hills area of Dallas. Marcus specializes in mostly traditional homes - many by the renowned architects, Clifford D. Hutsell and Charles Dilbeck, in which the construction and internal design of the style and originality that is true to these unique homes.
